Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Biocomm Pte. Ltd. (UEN 199404875D), trading as Nu-Factor ("we", "us"), collects, uses and discloses your personal data when you visit or buy from www.nu-factor.com (the "Site"). We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

Personal data we collect

  • Order information: name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number and payment details (card payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers).
  • Account and customer service information: details you give us when you create an account, contact us or ask for a return.
  • Device and usage information: browser type, IP address, time zone, pages and products viewed, and how you interact with the Site, collected automatically through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.

How we use your personal data

  • To process and deliver your orders, take payment, send order and delivery updates, and handle returns and refunds.
  • To respond to your questions and provide customer service.
  • To check orders for fraud and keep the Site secure.
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
  • To send you marketing, and to show you relevant ads on other websites, where you have agreed to this. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Who we share it with

  • Shopify, which hosts our online store and processes payments (Shopify privacy policy).
  • Delivery partners, to deliver your order.
  • Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Merchant Center), to measure site use and advertise our products (Google privacy policy).
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram pixel), to measure and show our ads.
  • Authorities or other parties where we are required to by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and advertising choices

We use cookies that the Site needs to work (for example the shopping cart and checkout), and analytics and advertising cookies to understand Site use and show relevant ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the Site may not work without them. You can opt out of personalised ads at Google Ads Settings and in your Facebook ad preferences, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Overseas transfers

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Singapore. Where this happens, we take steps so that your personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to fulfil your order and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to us using it for marketing. Email hello@biocomm.io and we will respond within 30 days.
